The Patterson Avenue Baptist "Family Outreach Ministries Team" is hosting a fitness community event aimed at making healthy activity and eating part of families’ daily routines.

We do not believe that CHURCH is merely bricks and mortar. Rather we understand CHURCH is an expression of God's love to our community.

Church does not happen in our building. It happens in the workplace, the neighborhood park, the school yard, and the grocery line. It happens wherever God actively loves people - and that is everywhere.

Ministries like this "Fun and Fitness Festival" are aim to build connections of care for those in our community who have needs we can help meet.

Fighting hunger in our own backyard by hosting a Food & Fund drive for the Central Virginia Food Bank to meet the needs of so many people in our community.

In addition to lots of fun activities for all ages, this event will sponsor a "Silent Auction" featuring dozens of terrific resources (athletic equipment, sports memorabilia, fitness tools, educational resources, golf outings, gift certificates, etc.) all to raised funds, a generous portion of which will be giving to the Central Virginia Food Bank. Funds not donated to the CVFB will be used to help defray our expenses while allowing our property to become a place for many such free events for our community for years to come.

We are supporting the Central Virginia Food Bank & the Patterson Avenue Baptist Church Family Outreach Ministries free community annual events.
